pero además ofrece seguridad y tranquilidad al viajero.
Sus variados climas hacen de este país un destino turístico
atractivo, con innumerables posibilidades para explotar: montaña,
mar, nieve, desierto, lagos, glaciares, termas, etc.
Santiago, su capital, es una metrópoli de 6 millones de habitantes, que cuenta con todos los servicios de una ciudad desarrollada. Posee una moderna y económica red de tren subterráneo (3 líneas) que accede a los principales lugares de la ciudad (entre esos, nuestra escuela). Su clima es templado seco y su ubicación es privilegiada, ya que se encuentra a 1 hora de la costa y a una hora de la montaña.
El país es estable democráticamente; sus índices de delincuencia son los más bajos de Latinoamérica; no existen enfermedades endémicas, por lo tanto, no se requiere vacunación previa para ingresar.
La comida chilena es sencilla, sana, sobre todo por su gran variedad
de mariscos, pescados, frutas y vinos.
La población chilena es mayoritariamente mestiza. Conviven
diversos grupos étnicos originarios, siendo el más destacado
el de los mapuches (de cuya lengua hemos obtenido el nombre Newen).
Existen variadas opciones para disfrutar de la vida nocturna (hasta
el amanecer) y nuestra escuela se encuentra a escasas cuadras de uno
de estos lugares.

Chile offers all of the attractions you can find in Latin America, while being a safe place to travel. Its wide variation in climates make this country an attractive tourist destiny, with many possibilities to see mountains, ocean, beaches, snow, deserts, lakes, glaciers, and hot springs.
Santiago, the capital, is a metropolis with a population of 6 million
people, that has all the conveniences and charm of a major city.
It has a modern and inexpensive subway system which serves the most
important parts of the city (including, of course, our school).
Santiago has temperate and dry weather, situated just one hour from
the coast and one hour from the Andes Mountains.
The political climate is very stable, with the lowest crime rates in Latin America. There are no endemic diseases, so you don't need to be vaccinated before entering the country.
Chilean food is simple and healthy. Above all it is well-known for its great variety of seafood, fish, fruit, and wine.
The Chilean population is largely mestizo, although there are still many indiginous groups, the Mapuche being the most prominent (and from whom we've adopted the name, Newen).
There is a wide variety of neighborhoods in which to enjoy the nightlife in Santiago, and our school is very near one such neighborhood.
